NEUMANN roof boxes of the are manufactured from high quality plastics, resistant against frost and UV radiation.
The boxes are equipped with one central lock or two lock systems at European standards. They are fitted with gas or mechanical springs for easy opening. Essentially they are manufactured with right side opening system but some models may be supplied with left hand opening upon request. The boxes can be mounted on any roof carrier by means of steel U-brackets being a part of the package. Older Whale models with rounded shape at the front (e.g. Whale 150, Whale 200) bear holes in the bottom for attachment purposes while new models with straighter lines bear sliding device for easier positioning of the box on the roof. Plastic fly nuts ensure the tight fixation of the box to the carrier. The inside load is secured with fastening straps.
Future of the boxes
In the future, apart from proven practicality and reliability, NEUMANN intends to focus on new box designs and improvements to internal fittings.
We cooperate with well-established design and engineering development centres in the automotive sector. Constant emphasis is placed upon the use of new materials securing greater durability and safety of our products.
Consequently, NEUMANN foresees the development of new product lines focused on the upper segment of the market.
